Location: Fingal, Co. Dublin
Salary: €45,000 per annum
Full-Time, Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sous Chef to join a leading hospitality and catering provider supporting a portfolio of tourism, heritage, cultural and event venues across the Fingal region.

This role offers a refreshing alternative to traditional kitchen environments, with predominantly daytime hours and a 5 days out of 7 working pattern, while supporting a varied programme of hospitality and event services.

The Role

Working closely with the Head Chef and wider culinary team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality food experiences across a range of tourism, cultural and event venues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the day-to-day management of kitchen operations.
  • Preparing and delivering high-quality food for hospitality services, events and functions.
  • Maintaining exceptional standards of food quality, presentation and consistency.
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety, HACCP and health & safety regulations.
  • Assisting with stock control, ordering and kitchen administration.
  • Supervising, coaching and developing junior kitchen team members.
  • Contributing to menu planning and seasonal food offerings.
  • Supporting catering operations across multiple locations within the Fingal area.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or a strong Senior Chef de Partie looking to take the next step.
  • Experience within hospitality, events, banqueting, hotels, contract catering or visitor attractions.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety and HACCP procedures.
  • The ability to thrive in a busy and varied environment.
  • A full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle, as travel between venues is required.
