The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join a large catering provider operating premium private lounges at Dublin Airport. This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment serving international guests, offering the chance to work with a professional kitchen team and deliver exceptional culinary experiences.
You will assist the Chef Manager in running the kitchen efficiently, maintaining food quality, and supporting staff development.
Key Responsibilities

Support day-to-day kitchen operations and ensure smooth service

Lead and motivate kitchen staff in the absence of the Head Chef

Prepare and present high-quality food in line with standards

Maintain HACCP and food safety compliance at all times

Assist with stock management, ordering, and minimising waste

Keep a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
Working Hours
-
Maximum 8-hour shifts

Maximum 40 hours per week
-
Mix of early morning starts and daytime shifts, finishing up to 9pm

Staff bus available for Dublin-based team members starting before 7am
Candidate Requirements

Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef ready to step up

Experience in high-volume catering or hospitality environments

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent understanding of food safety standards

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to shift patterns
