Senior Sous Chef –Hotel in Trim, Co. Meath
Salary: €45,000
Contract: 39 Hours per Week

A well-established 4-star hotel in Trim is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Sous Chef to join its busy kitchen team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong culinary professional looking to step into a key leadership role within a quality hospitality environment.

The Role

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, maintaining high food standards, and supporting the development of the wider brigade.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head Chef in the smooth running of the kitchen
  • Lead and motivate the kitchen team during service
  • Maintain excellent food quality, consistency, and presentation
  • Ensure HACCP and food safety standards are fully adhered to
  • Assist with menu development and stock control
  • Help manage kitchen staffing and training requirements

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef or strong Sous Chef in a busy hotel or high-volume kitchen
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Passion for high-quality food and service
  • Excellent knowledge of HACCP and kitchen compliance
  • Ability to perform well under pressure

Package

  • €45,000 salary
  • 39-hour contract
  • Accommodation available if required
