We are currently recruiting a Pastry Chef for a well-established 4-star hotel in County Wexford, catering for weddings, leisure guests, and corporate events. This role offers excellent variety, working across restaurant service, banqueting, afternoon tea, and events.

The Role:
As Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for the day-to-day pastry operations within the kitchen. Your duties will include:

Preparing and presenting high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods

Managing the pastry section and supporting other kitchen sections when required

Producing desserts for weddings, conferences, and large-scale banqueting
-
Assisting with menu development and seasonal dessert offerings

Ensuring consistent quality, presentation, and portion control

Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards

Supporting junior kitchen staff and contributing to a positive team culture
What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or Chef de Partie with strong pastry skills

Hotel or high-volume kitchen background preferred
-
Strong attention to detail and passion for pastry and desserts
-
Ability to work well under pressure in a busy hotel environment

Reliable, professional, and team-oriented approach
