Healthcare/Hospital Agency Chef

Dublin South, Full Time

Introduction:

We are currently looking for Chefs to join our Healthcare Agency Chef Relief Team in Dublin. We offer the opportunity to work for us within our Hospital and Healthcare Units based in County Dublin.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure food is prepared and cooked in accordance with current food hygiene regulations and guidelines.
  • Must be able to take instruction from other senior members of the kitchen team.
  • Chef must adhere to strict HACCP guidelines in the kitchen at all times.
  • Chef must be able to follow standard operating procedures and guidelines for duties assigned.
  • Must have general knowledge / be willing to learn about modified diets within the kitchen.

Requirements:

  • Up to date HACCP Level 2 and Manual Handling certs are essential – (We can provide training for these).
  • This role would be working for us The Agency and may involve working in different locations and full time work cannot always be guaranteed.
  • Must hold professional Chef qualifications – (Minimum Level 6) 
  • Valid work permits to work full-time in Ireland without restrictions.
  • Must have a passion to create high quality food.
  • Must have the enthusiasm and ability to work under pressure.
  • Provide points of contacts for references for employments from previous Chef roles.

Rewards:

  • Pay rate starting at €20.42ph and then there would be Saturday premium and Sunday double payments if applicable.
  • Paid Weekly and for every hour you work.
