Head Chef (Night Shift) – Corporate Catering | West Dublin
We are currently recruiting an experienced and motivated Head Chef to lead a night shift operation within a busy corporate catering environment in West Dublin.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong leader who thrives in a structured, high-volume kitchen and is looking for a stable, well-organised role with consistent hours.
The Role
- Position: Head Chef (Night Shift)
- Location: West Dublin
- Hours: 5 days over 7
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 3:00 AM
You will take full responsibility for the night-time kitchen operation, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a small team of chefs and kitchen staff
- Oversee food preparation and service for a corporate canteen environment
- Maintain consistent quality, presentation, and portion control
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP and food safety standards
- Manage stock, ordering, and waste control
- Train, mentor, and develop team members
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen
About You
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in high-volume catering or contract catering
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities
- Experience working in structured, process-driven environments
- Strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP compliance
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the night operation
