Head Chef
Dublin City Centre, Full Time
We are currently recruiting for a Head Chef
The Head Chef will ensure the operation meets/exceeds the targets established. As the Head Chef you will be responsible for supervising operations, driving standards and leading and inspiring the team. This is a full-time role and will be daytime hours and will include weekend work 39 hrs per week.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Operations
- Food Preparation and Service
- Modified Diets Preparation
- Resident Interaction and Service. 255 patients per day
- Budgetary Controls
- People Management, managign 10- 15 staff
- Ensuring standards of Health & Safety & HACCP are met
The successful candidate will
- Have a hard work ethic and positive attitude
- Positive and enthusiastic towards achieving results
- Craft qualifications or gained chef skills through in house training
- Experienced senior sous chef or Head chef
- Strong Leadership skills
- Ability to instruct and motivate
- Excellent communication skills
- Well-developed leadership skills
- Knowledge of Special Diets and allergen awareness
- Food Hygiene and Health and Safety Certificates
