Head Chef

We are recruiting a talented and driven Head Chef to lead the kitchen at a popular wedding and events venue in County Louth. The venue focuses on weddings while also hosting corporate events, private functions, and special occasions throughout the year. This role is ideal for an experienced Head Chef or a strong Senior Sous Chef ready to step up and take ownership of a busy kitchen operation.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a dedicated kitchen team

  • Deliver high-quality food for weddings, corporate events, and functions

  • Develop seasonal and event-focused menus

  • Manage food costs, stock, and supplier relationships

  • Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety standards

  • Collaborate with events and management teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef, ideally in weddings or events

  • Hands-on, organised, and calm under pressure

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to set high standards

  • Knowledge of food costing and kitchen management

  • Passion for quality food and excellent service

  • Full unrestricted right to work in Ireland
