We are looking for a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team of a well-established city-centre restaurant. Specializing in traditional Irish cuisine, this is an excellent opportunity for a chef who takes pride in working with fresh, local ingredients and delivering an exceptional dining experience. Previous experience in a similar high-quality kitchen is essential.

Role Overview:
As a Chef de Partie, you will oversee your assigned section, ensuring that every dish is prepared, cooked, and presented to the highest standard. Working closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team, you will help deliver memorable meals for guests while maintaining organisation, cleanliness, and strict adherence to food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage your section during service, ensuring smooth preparation, cooking, and plating of dishes
• Assist in creating and executing seasonal menus that highlight fresh, local Irish ingredients
• Keep your section clean, organised, and compliant with food safety and hygiene standards
• Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff to support their development
• Collaborate with the team to maintain consistent quality during busy service periods
• Monitor stock levels, help with ordering, and minimise food waste
• Contribute ideas for daily specials and innovative Irish-inspired dishes

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen
• Passion for Irish cuisine and fresh, seasonal ingredients
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene, safety, and kitchen regulations
• Ability to perform efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards
• Excellent organisational, time management, and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary & Benefits:

• €15.50–€18.00 per hour, depending on experience
