Chef de Partie – Fine Dining Restaurant, Co. Clare

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Partie to join a prestigious fine dining restaurant in Co. Clare, celebrated for its exceptional culinary standards and focus on the finest seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef passionate about delivering world-class dining experiences in a stunning and tranquil setting.

Role Overview:
As Chef de Partie, you will oversee your kitchen section, ensuring every dish is executed to the highest standard. You will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver a memorable fine dining experience, assist with seasonal menu creation, and help craft innovative dishes that showcase the best local produce. This role is ideal for chefs who value creativity, quality, and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage your section during service, ensuring all dishes are prepared, cooked, and presented to perfection
  • Assist in planning and executing seasonal menus using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients
  • Supervise and support junior kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to quality and food safety standards
  • Maintain a clean, organised section in line with hygiene and food safety regulations
  • Contribute to the creation of daily specials and innovative menu items
  • Help with stock control, ordering, and reducing food waste
  • Ensure smooth kitchen operations and collaborate with the team to consistently deliver outstanding food

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, ideally within a fine dining environment
  • Passion for preparing high-quality, seasonal dishes
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage a section efficiently
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
  • Ability to maintain high standards under pressure in a busy kitchen
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak service periods

Salary & Benefits:

  • €36,000 per year
  • Subsidised on-site accommodation
  • Meals provided during shifts and on days off
  • Two months’ winter break
