About the Role
We are currently recruiting an experienced Chef de Partie on behalf of a well-established hospitality client in Kilkenny. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy kitchen where quality, consistency, and teamwork are at the heart of the operation.
Key Responsibilities
As a Chef de Partie, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes within your designated section.
- Ensuring all food is prepared and presented to a consistently high standard.
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene, HACCP, and health & safety standards.
- Assisting with stock rotation, inventory control, and minimising food waste.
- Supporting senior chefs and working collaboratively with the wider kitchen team.
- Helping to ensure the smooth running of daily kitchen operations.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a busy hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
- A strong understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent teamwork skills.
Salary
- €36,000–€38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Full-time, permanent position.
