About the Role

We are currently recruiting an experienced Chef de Partie on behalf of a well-established hospitality client in Kilkenny. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy kitchen where quality, consistency, and teamwork are at the heart of the operation.

Key Responsibilities

As a Chef de Partie, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes within your designated section.
  • Ensuring all food is prepared and presented to a consistently high standard.
  • Maintaining excellent food hygiene, HACCP, and health & safety standards.
  • Assisting with stock rotation, inventory control, and minimising food waste.
  • Supporting senior chefs and working collaboratively with the wider kitchen team.
  • Helping to ensure the smooth running of daily kitchen operations.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a busy hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
  • A strong understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent teamwork skills.

Salary

  • €36,000–€38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Full-time, permanent position.
