Head Chef – Corporate Catering | Galway City | €45,000–€47,000
A leading corporate catering provider is seeking an experienced Head Chef to oversee kitchen operations at a busy manufacturing site in Galway City Centre.
This is an excellent opportunity for a chef looking for a structured weekday role with consistent daytime hours and strong work-life balance within a high-volume catering environment.
The Role
Manage the day-to-day running of a high-volume contract catering kitchen
Deliver fresh, nutritious, and balanced meals for onsite staff
Lead, organise, and support the kitchen team to ensure efficient service
Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation
Ensure full HACCP compliance and food safety standards are met
Manage stock control, ordering, and kitchen cost efficiency
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef
Experience in contract catering, hospitality, or high-volume food service
Strong background in fresh food preparation at scale
Good understanding of food safety, compliance, and HACCP standards
Strong leadership and team management skills
Good organisational ability and financial awareness
