We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join a busy and well-established kitchen in beautiful County Cavan. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated chef looking to take the next step in their culinary career within a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with menu planning and creation of daily specials
- Manage stock control, ordering, and waste reduction
- Support and lead the kitchen team during service
- Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
- Step into the Head Chef role when required
- Maintain HACCP and kitchen compliance standards
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or a strong Senior Chef de Partie ready to progress
- Experience working in a busy hotel or restaurant kitchen
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for fresh food and maintaining high standards
- Solid understanding of HACCP procedures and kitchen compliance
