We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join a busy and well-established kitchen in beautiful County Cavan. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated chef looking to take the next step in their culinary career within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with menu planning and creation of daily specials
  • Manage stock control, ordering, and waste reduction
  • Support and lead the kitchen team during service
  • Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
  • Step into the Head Chef role when required
  • Maintain HACCP and kitchen compliance standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or a strong Senior Chef de Partie ready to progress
  • Experience working in a busy hotel or restaurant kitchen
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for fresh food and maintaining high standards
  • Solid understanding of HACCP procedures and kitchen compliance
