Sous Chef (4 day week)

Chef Recruiters are currently looking for a driven and passionate Sous Chef for a modern and busy high end restaurant in Co Wicklow

Our client is looking for a hands on Chef who has vision and ambition and is capable of running the kitchen in the absence of the head chef.

This role gives great structure as it guarantees three days off a week. It operates four days out of seven and one of those days is a prep day.

The Restaurant is committed to using the best ingredients where possible and strives for high standards constantly. 

Candidate & Role Requirements:

  • Looking for a Sous Chef who has come from a busy background and is able for volume.
  • Strong kitchen management skills required while carrying out this role.
  • Strong creativity and innovation required when implementing new menu concepts.
  • Ideally will come from a busy restaurant environment. 
  • Excellent attention to detail required when carrying out your role.
  • Able to develop the existing team while growing the kitchen brigade. 
  • Excellent understanding of the latest food trends in the current market. 
  • Real food enthusiast.
  • Creating new food concept while keeping what works on the current menu.
