We are currently searching for a confident and enthusiastic Hotel Restaurant Sous Chef for a well-known 4* Hotel in the Dublin South area. This property is well known for its standing in the culinary industry and would be a great opportunity for a senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef to take a step up in their career. Ideally we are looking for a Sous Chef who has experience within the 4* or 5* market.
Candidate & Role Requirements:
- Strong kitchen management skills required while carrying out this role.
- This Sous Chef will be mainly responsible for the restaurant section of the hotel.
- Able to grow and bring a team together to produce an excellent standard of food throughout this busy property.
- Strong creativity and innovation required when implementing new menu concepts.
- Strong people management skills a must.
- Excellent attention to detail required when carrying out your role.
- Managing the smooth day to day running of this beautiful operation.
- Proven track record in a similar role.
- Excellent understanding of the latest food trends in the current market.
- The Chef will be responsible for preparing fresh produce for a busy operation.
- Proven track record managing a busy multi operation.
- Creating new food concept while keeping what works on the current menu.
- Flexibility is required for this role to work around business demands.
