Head Pastry Chef – 5* Property

Chef Recruiters are currently looking for a vibrant and passionate Head Pastry Chef for a bespoke high end Client in Co Tipperary.
This is a very exciting opportunity for someone who has experience leading a Pastry Team and is now looking to progress and take on a new challenge.
What the role involves:
- Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread etc. following traditional and modern recipes
- Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within budget
- Guide and motivate pastry assistants and bakers to work more efficiently
- Working with the culinary team to create excellent, consistent high standard dishes and must be able to oversee that the pastry team is carrying out all duties to an equal high standard.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as Head Pastry Chef coming from a great background
- Great attention to detail and creativity
- Organizing and leadership skills
- Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations (pastries that are gluten free, sugarless etc.)
