Head Chef – Cork – Hotel €60k+

Cork, Full Time

The candidate must come from a similar background and must be legally entitled to work in Ireland.

Candidate Requirements:

  • The Head Chef will ensure the Kitchen is prepared in advance of each shift and in accordance with relevant SOPs
  • The Head Chef will develop the team, train and coach kitchen staff to the standards required by the kitchen
  • Maintain regular communication with staff and management through meetings, discussions and handovers
  • To be aware and ensure compliance with all company policy’s regarding: Fire, Health & Safety, Hygiene, Food Hygiene, and Customer Care & Security
  • To liaise with all other Heads of Departments and Duty Managers to ensure high quality of service is always achieved
  • To work in conjunction with the General Manager & Operation Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the department and overall Business
  • Menu design
  • Waste control ensuring minimum waste throughout the kitchen. 
  • Maintain a GP margin in line with Company expectations
  • Review and control the weekly payroll and expenditure for the department in line with budget.
