Chef Recruiters are currently hiring Chef de Parties to for a variety of popular hotels in Co. Cork on a full time permanent basis.

Candidates would be joining some great teams and would gain great experience and exposure to some fast paced and well established hotel kitchens.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in conjunction with the Head Chef
  • Assist the Head Chef in the hiring and training of new kitchen employees to restaurant and kitchen standards
  • Provide guidance to junior kitchen staff members, including but not limited to, line cooking, food preparation and dish plating
  • Supervise all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards
  • Ensure a first-in, first out food rotation and verify all food products are properly dated and organised as well as keeping cooking stations stocked, especially before and during prime operation hours
  • Oversee and organise kitchen stock and ingredients and waste management as well as managing food and product orders by keeping detailed records to minimise waste
  • Verify that all food storage units meet standards and are consistently well managed
  • Work with existing systems to improve waste reduction and manage budgetary concerns
  • Assist the head chef with menu creation and constantly drive for better and focuses on return custom
